Feeling: merry and bright. Christmas Eve is one of my favorite days of the year. My family, unable to contain our excitement until the actual day of Christmas, has always done most of our celebrating on Christmas Eve. It’s full of family, gifts, and my grandmother’s homemade fudge.
Matching: my baby! My grandmother (the queen of crafting/baking/being a grandma) made the above matching shirts for Scarlett and me. Basically all of my dreams have come true and from here on out Scarlett and I will be in matching mommy-and-me outfits.
Planning: to cut my Christmas tree in half one year. Hysterical!
Watching: Love Actually. It’s one of the few movies I can sit all the way through before my ADHD kicks in. I realized last year that Mark and Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead are the same person. My mind is still blown.
Wondering: why people buy presents for babies. Scarlett received no less than 5 blinking/flashing/seizure inducing/ear drum bursting toys last night from my parents, and this morning the first thing she plays with? A container of cupcake liners she found in a kitchen drawer.
Wishing: you all a very Merry Christmas! xo
